WHY USASHI CAME INTO BEING
Mainly because of a shirt Heather had. It said "Snow Bunny", and Heather started
calling herself that, and I was suddenly known as Fire Bunny, and Kimi was Wind
Bunny.
But I never said that she was the first bunny, oh no.
Actually, before I even met Heather, my ex-boyfriend Jimmy was known as Hot Pink
Bunny in a wierd story I once wrote for my friend Raeanna about her and me
robbing banks. [Yay! Fun.] I was Silverfox, she was Angel, her boyfriend was Sly,
and there was Tiger and Hot Pink Bunny. We were suddenly not friends anymore,
and she has the only copy of the story.
Later on, I met up with Jimmy again, in the Sixth grade and he wanted to be Hot
Pink Money Bunny.
'Tis a strange world we live in, with even stranger people.
So, eventually we started drawing ourselves and our lovers, when Chrono became
whole and had a personality. Nobody really liked him though, not because he was
too feminine, but because they thought he wouldn't stand up for himself.
[Proved them wrong.]
Anyway, Heather started drawing these itty-bitty little comic strips while I
wrote long, wierd stories for humorous entertainment. It wasn't until the
beginning of Seventh grade that we(Emmy,Heather, and I) got the idea to
actually do a comic with a purpose. We got tons of ideas and stuff for it. Then
we had to create Wind Bunny and Earth Bunny, Austin and Aubrey, and Heather told
me I had to choose between Chrono and Aubrey. It was hard, and after a few days
of hard thinking, I got a brilliant deduction.
We can make two comics!
One with Chrono, the other with Aubrey. Naturally, I was
almost completely alone with the one with Chrono, and we worked very hard to get
together every day during Enrichment at the Art Room. After a year of work, we
got seven pages done!
That's it...
So I just completely dropped that one because they weren't coming or didn't want
to come. Alas, 'twas fun throwing me off a horse on the third page, but it's now
dropped and gone.
Chrono wins.
TITLE AND PURPOSE OF USASHI
Usagi no H and Hoshi no Shiro(Usashi)is Japanese for "Fire Bunny and White Star".
Why I decided to make that the name is unbeknownst to me. I think it's kind of
lame, but, oh well.
The main purpose of this comic was made for my creativity to leak out of my under-
used brain. I'm making the whole thing up as I go along, albeit some things are
already planned, like the couples, and the people who die.
I'm still debating whether some of them should die or not, but the others I'm
sure will. This comic can go from being pervertedly funny, to plain funny,
to horrible sadness. It all depended on my mood when I draw.
[Link Comment:It looks like the name comes from her "Fire Bunny" name and the
fact that Chrono began as the Shot Card, which was, a white star. I think 7 (Vii)
is just insane and wants to pretend it just kind of came to her. Personally I
think that the comic can go from perverted, to funny, to girlishly inane (from
what I've read). It's really a girl's doujinshi of fanaticism and idealism.
Although, I shouldn't talk considering most of my comics are in a similar manner,
but from a freakish point of view.]

Veronica
The main character is me, Veronica. It wasn't supposed
to turn out like this, but that's how it happened. So my name is real.
My hair was made after I died my hair red and
straightened it. I threw in some freaky deaky
sidelocks because back then, I did ears wierd. I still
do, but "shh!". My eyes were only made different
because my old Art Teacher, Mr. Conrad(God, I miss
you!)said my comic would never be published if
everybody's eyes were the same. So I made different
eyes for everyone, and mine became super slanty, even
though I'm not Asian or anything of the sort. My
height is based on what it is now, 5'4", even though
in the comic I'm two years older. I doubt I'll grow
much anyway. My trademark shirt, the one with what
seems two layers and fire on the elbows came from an
old shirt I had, and still have, though it doesn't fit
me anymore. It said "Naughty" in flaming letters, so I
took that out and put my Fire Bunny shirt design.
[Link Comment:Oooh...Naughty... I'd have prefered that shirt anyday.]
Chrono
Chrono. My beloved. The idea for him originally came
from when I was drawing the Shot Card from Cardcaptor
Sakura and failed miserably. Back then, he was just a
figure-shaped light, but that seemed too plain for me,
although that day I couldn't think of a design that
would suit him. He was left a discarded figure of
light, until I dreamt of someone with his shape. The
dream was still fuzzy, so I drew Chrono's hair much
more uneven than how it is now. His hair originally
was down to his butt, until I just kept drawing him
and it got longer, and longer. I made myself stop, he
would trip over his hair if it got any longer, so I
shortened it to his knees and that's how it's been for
three years. The hair in front of his face is still
growing, which you'll be able to see once I finish
inking and scanning Volume One and go on to Volume
Two. In pencil, Volume One is done, and Volume Two has
75 pages and counting. Anyway, his name came from lack
of creativity when I was obsessed with Chrono Cross.
It was intended to be changed, but I couldn't do that
since everybody called him Chrono for two to three
years. His hair colors have been the same since the
first time I colored him. His eyes originally never
had a color because his hair was always in the way,
but I thought, hey, he needs an eye color just like
everyone else, and it's changed a million times until
I settled for light pink.
[Link Comment:Chrono offends me... because of how much
like a girl he looks. Although, he DOES look like the
stereotypical pretty-boy *cough*Inuyasha*cough*.]
Emily
My best friend EVER. Her antenna part of her
hair came from when she had this blue glue stuff for
your hair, and she made two peices hang in front if
her face. She said she wished she had green. The rest
of her hair is completely different from her real
hair, which is not as long, nor as bright. Her eyes
were just changed from their icy, dull, blue to the forest
green you people see. Her trademark clothing is not
her shirt, which has changed a million times, but her
unbelievably baggy pants.
Most of the clothes are based on what we have in real
life but altered a bit to fit our character more.
Emmy's pants just stayed the same.
Link
Link(Lincoln)was previously known as Chris. But we hate
Chris, so we made our HTML slave special and kicked
Chris out. His hairstyle was based on nothing in
particular, for I just once drew him(funny picture, he
was sitting in a cloud with the goofiest look on his
face)and his hair stuck. His eyes were meant too be
big and lubricant because he's so goofy and perverted.
He doesn't even have a trademark outfit, but I guess
later I'll give him some kind of trademark hat because
Link is in love with hats.
[Link Comment:Hey! It's me! I am actually just a name replacement
for an evil person from Emily's past. The name of the
original new candidate (who also likes wearing a hat)
would presumably have caused her sister to get angry, thus
I was "born" instead. As far as perversion, we are all
alike. GLORIOUS REINVENTING OF FLAMBOYANCE!]
Heather
Heather isn't as much of a close friend as
she used to be. We barely talk anymore, but I wanted
to keep her in this comic to remind myself of how we
used to be. And she isn't as bitchy in real life as
she is in the comic. Alas, since she created herself,
there's not much I can tell you except her hair style
changed almost every month. She just couldn't stick
with one thing. She used to be called Snow Bunny, but
later changed it to Ice Bunny so she could have a
wider use of icy powers. She doesn't really have a
trademark outfit since that always changed as well.
[Link Comment:I talked to her on AIM and I was frightened.
Her character frightens me as well. The hair reminds me of
There's Something About Mary.]
Austin & Aubrey
Austin was created, he's not real. He was also made by
Heather, because she dumped Mike and there went our
Patriotic Bunny. That's when we decided the bunnies
should be elements and that's it. Since there was an
opening for Wind Bunny(Kimi lost her position because
of super bitchiness), Heather and I talked on the
phone to see if we could agree on some character
design. As usual, we couldn't, and then we got the
brilliant deduction of, "Hey! There isn't an Earth
Bunny either!" so Heather created Austin, and I
created Aubrey. It was a couple days later we made
them brothers. Since we knew Austin was ging to be
Wind, we gave him goggles and his own plane.
Erika
My evil, evil sister. Her hair is based upon
her own comic about herself and me, called Shadows in
the Dark. I asked and she said yes that I could use
her in the comic. So, POOF! She came into being just
like that.
Kyle
Kyle is Heather's friend that she made Lightning
Bunny without our consent. Oh well, he's nice. Heather
also made his hairstyle and stuff, so I don't know how
to explain it to you.
[Link Comment:No Consent? Why, that is creative rape!
HOW DARE SHE!]

Emiko
My very second character I made for this
section. Chrono was first, but he's up there ^. Emiko
was a devil from the beginning, and I don't really
know where I got the idea for him. His hair was just
done like that. But he was without a name until the
infinite game of Build-up Scrabble. I was playing with
my mom and we just put letters on there. I looked at
it after it was full and saw "Emiko" there. I wrote it
down thinking I'm gonna use this name. And, for a
while, I thought I just made it up, but then I wnet ot
this website and saw that name. I'm happy because it's
a real name, but then...IT'S A GIRL'S NAME. I kept it
anyway, because it just suits him.
[Link Comment:This is a sad story. Agree? Of course you do.]
Kamui/Kitsuke
The Kitsuke doll that Kamui possesses
was originally a Hiei doll, known as The Tiny,
Possessed Hiei doll. Due to copyright laws I had to
change it. So Kitsuke was made. His hair came from
thin air. And the doll was usually always glaring but
I changed it for serious moments between him and
Emiko. Kamui's name was made after I watched X and
created him the next day. I asked my sister if I had
to change it, and she said no because it's a name
maybe frequently used in Japan.
[Link Comment:I could care less about copyrights. Not like I'm making any
money...]
Mayan
He was created before the idea of buying the
Cardcaptor Book of Clow came to mind. He was created
when Emmy created someone named Yeton. Yeton is not
used because of personal information I would not like
to reveal about my best friend. So Mayan was made to
accompany Yeton and was always wearing his trademark
robey outfit. He's always had his hair and eyes like
that, except I last minute threw in his sidelocks
because his hair style was too plain. He's had one
other outfit, a very descriptive Japanese style outfit
that looked wondrous on him. He's always had his
wonderful wings. His name just popped into my head
when I had to quick name him.
[Link Comment:The GBA "Pitfall" game was called the MAYAN
adventure. I don't know how you got this from Cardcaptor Sakura or what that
had to do with the series. Maybe I didn't watch enough or paid too much attention
to Sakura's outfits..]
Nerico
Hey, remember that scrabble game that made
Emiko's name? Same thing for Nerico here. I wrote down
his name next to Emiko. Nerico has always been a
ghost, and has always been purple and floaty. His hair
came from normal teenage boy style even though he's
been dead for a really really long time. His eyes have
changed from being wierd, to normal, and back to
wierd. And no, he wasn't meant to be naked, but Casper
was naked too, so get over it you immature freaks.
*ahem*
[Link Comment:Some people just don't understand art. Nudity is viewed as
perversion by imbeciles all over.
On a side note, the name Necrid is used in Soul Calibur 2. Necrid was
drawn by Todd McFarlane specifically for NAMCO's console versions of the hit
fighting game. Not a rights thing, but just a statement I felt I must say.]
Chibi Iggy
Sad, isn't it? I've made a humanized
iguana. I really do have an insane iguana. I thought
it was funny to make him unable to say egg. Anyway,
his hair could never be decided. One day it was this,
the next day it was that, until I drew a beautiful
person in my Home Ec. folder when I was supposed to be
paying attention to how to cook. I decided to make him
Chibi Iggy. I named him Chibi Iggy because Chibi was
my Japanese word of the week, and Iggy stands for
iguana. He wasn't very chibi when I got him though. He
was two feet long then, now he's about four. (Chibi
means small for Japanese illiterate people)
[Link Comment:Yes, 7, you are sad.]
Swissy
Even sadder then the above. Why did I make a
character made of Swiss cheese? Because I'm wierd. In
human form, his skin isn't even skin color. It's a
light yellow, and his eyes were made a wierd green to
disgustingly reprisent mold that he would turn into if
I didn't put him in the refrigerator every night. It's
apparent where I got his name.
[Link Comment:Now I am certain you are insane.]
Toshiro
You poor guy. Do you know how colorful you
are? Anyway, since Toshiro is a shapeshifter, he turns
into my cat and my fish(both real, Mushy and Mizuu)and
they are never in the same room at the same time.
Isn't it wierd? I have no idea where his hair came
from, and it even scares me. His name came from a
random burst of watching credits and saying "Hey! I
like that name!"
Alex
Ah, someone with an American name. Somehow he's
Mayan's half-brother. Hm. Well, he was created out of
boredom and he was actually an altered Mayan.
Henceforth they became half-brothers. And that's it
for him. His name came from a certain crush I had at
the time.
[Link Comment:This is the second fake character with an American name.
AUSTIN is the first.]
